These impressive stats are the result of the USMCA, a trilateral trade framework between the United States, Mexico, and Canada that has been the cornerstone of our integrated North American market. The USMCA has been in effect since 2020, and in July 2026, the Parties will decide whether to extend the Agreement for 16 years. President Trump has indicted that he prefers bilateral agreements and called the USMCA “irrelevant.”
