Texas House Brings Lone Star Grit and Global Economic Vision to SXSW London
Official SXSW Partner to build collaborative bridges between the UK and Texas through culture, business, tech, and leadership
AUSTIN, TEXAS – May 15, 2025: Today, Texas House is proud to announce we’re taking our show across the pond for the second iteration of the hit activation that launched during SXSW in March. Texas House in London will be held on June 4th at CIVO Tech Junction in Shoreditch, and will feature informative panels on trade, AI, and more, as well as a showcase of the award-winning documentary film “Deep in the Heart.” On the evening of June 3rd, Texas House will be hosting an exclusive Superconnector Dinner hosted by the British Consulate-General of Houston. More Texas House programming and official details will be announced in the weeks leading up to SXSW London, which runs from June 2-7.
“We are growing at a rapid pace, and we were honored to be invited to SXSW London to put on the next great Texas House event,” said Will Herrmann, founder and president of Texas House. “Our mission is to give Texans a platform to tell our story on the global stage, and there isn’t a better place to do that than London, a city where so many international bridges have been built.”
Texas House launched as a satellite activation in Austin, Texas, during SXSW in March 2025. The event hosted close to 3,000 attendees over two days, nearly 40% of whom were C-suite level executives. The event featured informative panels from EU House, Rice University, Foley Hoag, Plug & Play, and MassChallenge, focusing on how Texas is experiencing a modern renaissance, leading in tech, energy, life sciences, innovation, and much more. And we can’t forget — the Texas House afterparty was sponsored by Starbase Brewery, Dulce Vida Tequila, Zephyr Gin, the Austin Winery and ran from late night to early morning, featuring local musical guests Justin Langston and SaxxDoc, which many patrons told us was a highlight of their SXSW experience.
